Pierrefonds Police Station – $3,500,000 project

Pierrefonds’ new police station is a 10,000 sq. ft. building on 2 floors.  It has a "green terrace" and a "white" roof.  It’s the first LEED GOLD project for the City of Montreal in the "design-build" category.

• Heat wheel, geothermal and solar panels
• Photosensitive exterior parking lot and building lighting
• Motion detectors operating interior lighting
• About 50% more economical in drinking and washing water
• Environmentally conscious landscaping is planned without irrigation
